Talent Tree:
15 Talent - (Astral Shift) - I use this because it is the better talent out of the 3 defensive talents when it comes to damage reduction. It is also alot more reliable when it comes to surviving heavy damage.

30 Talent - (Earthgrab totem) - I use this because it's an extra bit of CC that can come in handy at times, I will also use (Windwalk Totem) When it comes to fights with slow effects.

45 Talent - I like to take (Totemic Projection). I use this because it's really helpful for movement in fights, I generally use this to move my Totem around without having to take any damage in the mean time, I specifically like to use this Talent when it comes to moving my Capacitor Totem around, for the AOE Stun.

60 Talent - Well, before the patch I almost always used (Elemental Mastery) I used this because with the Assurance of consequence It would put it on around the same GCD as my Fire elemental and my Ascendence. I found this to be an extremely strong talent to stack with those 2 Cool-downs. This talent is also very strong with the changes to haste in patch 6.0.2. After patch 6.0.2 I have been switching between (Echo of the Elements) because of the changes. Echo of the Elements now has a chance to make your Lava Lash/Stormstrike/Fire Nova have its cool-down reset, which is specifically quite nice when you get the Enhance 4 Set which already has a chance to give you a free Lava lash, and is also pretty nice whilst in Ascendence form.

75 Talent - Well I used to always take (Ancestral Guidance) Because it was so damn strong. Especially when it came to stacking shields in the Malkorok fight. After the Patch I actually use (Rushing Streams) Because I can use my Healing Stream off it's cool-down and it's pretty decent and helpful healing. I would definitely switch between the 2 depending on what the fight is though.

90 Talent - I use (Primal Elementalist). I use this because not only does it hit harder then my Character It becomes extremely strong once you get your Assurance of Consequence trinket and lasts for 60 Seconds which is a lot of sustained burst.

I also have Restoration as my off-spec. I can play Restoration Shaman to a decent level and would be willing to change Specialisation some fights if necessary to do so.


Class Info: Well the patch has hit so things have changed for Enhancement. We don't really have to wait on our core abilities coming up since patch 6.0.2. there is always a button to push thank's to haste lowering the cool-down of our main abilities.

My burst sequence is Pre-pot > Spirit wolfs > Elemental Mastery > Fire Elemental > Spirit walk (To get over to the boss quicker.) Unleash Elements > Stormstrike > Ascendance > Windstrike (I use Stormstrike into Ascendance because it basically resets the cool-down for extra damage.) > Empowered Flame Shock (To Empower it my Unleash Elements buff has to be up which it is at this point.) > Lava lash (Depending on the fight I normally Lava lash after flame shock to spread it to extra targets.) > Frost Shock (The new Filler Shock since they got rid of Earth Shock for Enhancment after patch.) I also use lightning bolt with 4/5 Maelstrom Stacks as a filler ability.

My general single target priority is Searing Totem > Unleash Elements > Stormstrike > Flame Shock > Lava Lash > Lightning bolt(With 4/5 Stacks of maelstrom)/Frost shock as filler.
If lava lash was to come up at the same time as Stormstrike, I would prioritise Lava lash over it as-long as the stormstrike debuff is still on target simply because it just does more damage.
I also make sure to try and keep my Flame shock (Empowered) up the whole fight.


My AoE priorities are Magma Totem > Unleash Elements > Lava Lash (For flame shock spread.) > Fire Nova.


Raid experience: Well I've never actually done Mythic raiding before but recently I have been extremely dedicated to WoW and really want to start raiding doing Mythics in WoD. I have only ever done normal raid progression. I haven't really done much progression on my Shaman. I started as a hunter main at the start of MoP and cleared MsV Normal 9/9 and ToS 4/4. I then had a break from WoW and only really came back when SoO was released. I started to really enjoy playing my Shaman since then and have improved massively on him. I have only killed 1 Boss on mythic in SoO and that's Immerseus. I have cleared it 14/14 on what was the old normal but new heroic multiple times though. The main reason I haven't really done any Mythic progression in SoO is mainly to not having a Good raiding guild. But recently I really have started wanting to find a strong raiding guild who will help me into becoming a strong mythic raider. I am extremely dedicated and hopeful for WoD.


Guild history: I haven't really been in many raiding guilds. I was in Chaotic for a little bit but never really did much progression with them. (this was on my hunter.) I then joined Eye of the Panther (An alliance guild on Thunderhorn/Wildhammer to normal SoO. I took a little break after that and came back and decided to faction change to Horde and see what guilds are like on that faction. I haven't really been in a raiding guild since. I was going to start a raiding guild with a couple of friends but it didn't quite work out. Since then I have been looking for a good raiding guild to raid and progress in WoD with.

Your recent performances: Well, I don't really have any logs of my recent performances because I haven't been in a raiding guild environment for a while. If necessary I can be tested in a pug to see what my performance is like, Even though the current raid content isn't as hard after the Patch.

When can you play: I am Unemployed so raid times aren't a problem for me, I kinder play WoW all day anyway.

Where are you from: UK - English.

Age: I am 18 Years old but my parents are super layed back so Parent RAGEEEE isn't an issue.

Communication: I do own a microphone and I am okay with speaking out when I need too.

About you: I am an 18 year old gamer. I play games because they're super fun to me and I use them as a way to relax. I used do something called Break dancing. I did this since I was about 11 up until the age of 16. Then games took over my life. Nothing else really that's interesting about me. Did I mention I love games?

Why do you want to join and what do you expect from the guild: AKA What's in it for you?
I want to join this guild because I have heard good things about it and I want a serious raid environment that I can show my dedication too. I really want to actually do proper progression in a proper guild for once. Show how good a player I am and what I have to offer. I am extremely determined for WoD and am very dedicated.

Hey Haxer, thanks for applying and sorry it took this long for me to reply.

As usual, I'll be leaving class specific stuff to our guild shamans, since I don't really have solid knowledge of Enhancement spec. About rest of your application:

1) Your talent picks: switching between Echo of the Elements and Elemental Mastery - how do you decide which one to pick? Also, were there any specific boss in current raiding tier (SoO) where you've used Earthgrab or Windwalk totem?
2) Stat priority - I haven't found any mention of this, and I'm not sure how to read in your armory since you seem to go for pure crit and haste as well. Please expand on this.
3) You say you are unemployed, does that mean you don't study either? My point is, if that's the case, this situation probably won't last forever, and chances are when it changes, it might restrict you in your raid scheduling options as compared to now.
4) Do you know anyone in our guild who could vouch for you?

I tend to swap between Echo of the Elements and Elemental Mastery depending on the fight, if it's a fight that I can just sit and dps the boss most the fight (For example: Iron Juggernaut.) I get to make the most out of the cool-down on fights like that because I'm almost always attacking the boss. I Swap to Echo of the Elements when it comes to fight's were I have to move around a lot. (For example: I prefer to use it against Galakras and Paragons because I makes it a lot easier to spread my flame shocks to adds because it gives you an extra Lava lash and is more sustainable damage since you kinder need to hit the boss throughout the whole of Elemental Mastery for it to be as strong.

I normally switch to using Earthgrab totem on fights like Galakras againt the Bonecrushers or against Immerseus to keep the puddles in place. I tend to use Windwalk totem on fights like Spoils of Pandaria since there is a lot of slow-effects in that encounter.

After looking online and chatting with some top end Enchancement players, I've found people are consistently considering haste as our best secondary stat, up to 50%, at which it can no longer reduce the GCD by meaningful amounts. It then seems that stacking mastery and crit in equal amounts is the way to go, up until around 70% mastery, at which point crit begins to outweigh.

This is without factoring in multistrike/versatility but as the only source of multistrike is Haromm's Talisman, for now those 2 stats are pretty much irrelevant.


I can't guarantee whether getting a job/studying would clash with raid times, but I'm not actively searching for a job at the moment anyway. Due to personal reasons.

I am also aware Lothyhar is on trial in the guild so he may have something to say.

As mentioned the other day, I know Haxer and have been playing with him for a number of years. Afraid I don't keep up with the enhancement scene, so I'll make purely general comments based on raiding with him throughout MoP.

From a purely "can this guy raid" PoV, I see him as a fairly competent player. He handles himself well in raids, rarely dying to mistakes. He can handle interrupt/CC assignments and seems to know the tools available to his class. As an example pre stat squish he would recognise when healers were beginning to struggle (on galakras burn phase as an example) and would pop ancestral guidance to assist in raid healing.

He's always been competitive on the meters and seems to be doing a reasonable level of damage for his gear level (again I don't know where Enhance should be on the charts, but hes usually on par/above me with him having a slightly higher ilvl).

I can vouch for his parents being pretty chill, never seen him HAVE to AFK at that specific moment half way through a raid.

Finally, as mentioned in my own app we were originally looking to create a raid team together with some other friends we play with. After raiding with them for a time I realised many weren't cut out for progression raiding, due to personal skill or dedication to raiding, which is why I applied here. Out of all of them, Haxer is the only one I would consider to have shown high end raiding qualities.

Was a bit silly of me not to be casting unleash flame shock as soon as I enter the fight, sorry for that .
I did indeed forget about the flame shock not being buffed on other targets after it spreads. My bad again! I will make sure to keep these two things in mind in the future!
I really appreciate all the tips! I was also using Ancestral Swiftness for a while before I got 50% haste then I went back to mainly using Elemental Mastery again, but the 5% Haste/Attack Speed is always going to help with sustained damage so good point! Thankyou

I actually stopped using the earth elemental after the stat squish which was silly of me. I didn't consider the 20% Damage reduction I only considered the damage from it and didn't want to risk losing damage from my fire elementals downtime since I don't use the glyph of fire elemental any more. Sorry about that, I'll make sure to use it in future as a defensive since the 20% Damage reduction if huge. Especially in Mythic raiding.

I definitely agree with you on the Nature's Guardian. I can see it being very strong when it comes to progression and it is a very good defensive overall and actually do sometimes switch to it which I forgot to mention!
